NATO COMMERCIAL AND GOVERNMENT ENTITY CODE (NCAGE)
It is necessary to record manufacturers’ names against codified Items. To meet this requirement, a five-character NATO Commercial and Government Entity Code (NCAGE), is assigned to each manufacturer. The structure for NCAGE coding is set out in ACodP-1. Details of individual NCAGEs are published online in the NATO Master Catalogue of References for Logistics (NMCRL) and various national codification publications.
